What's good fellow FLOPZ?? As usual, we've been pretty busy over at FLOPHOUSE RECORDS. Here's some of what we've been working on.
 AFFILIATE is about to drop two mixtapes this month. The first one, called GREEN MONEY BLACK TRASH BAGS, is available as a FREE DOWNLOAD NOW!. The second one, called THE OUTSIDER, will be available on CD on September 2nd! THE OUTSIDER will feature a special guest host, and you won't want to miss either one!
KARDINAL OFFISHALL will be joining us at the 3rd Annual BACK TO SCHOOL JUMP-OFF '08! on September 12th! KARDINAL OFFISHALL will be releasing his album on September 9th, and he will be performing in Maine to kick off his tour! See him perform his smash hit "Dangerous feat. Akon" as well as other favorites! Also performing will be Boston's own AFFILIATE and SUPASTAR LT! DJ CALIBUR from XM Satellite Radio's Rated X Squad DJs will be spinning all your favorite Hip-Hop and R&B, and don't miss out on the special GREEN TANK DJ set! Dancers provided by DOLLHOUSE ENTERTAINMENT, and Photography provided by WESTON PHOTOGRAPHY! This will be the 3rd Annual Back-To-School Jump-Off, with previous years guests including Papoose and Sean Kingston. This event will sell out, so be sure to get your tickets today! Also in September, make sure you pick up a copy of GREENHOUSE. This project is a collaboration between FLOPHOUSE RECORDS artists and GREEN TANK artists, with all beats produced by GREEN TANK. There are some classic collabos here that you won't want to miss! GREENHOUSE will be available in late September.
AFFILIATE is hard at work on his sophomore album 10 DAYS and this
album is nothing but FIRE! All I have to say is be patient fans, this
one will be worth the wait! The album is scheduled to be released in
the 2nd Quarter of 2008! In the meantime be sure to check out
AFFILIATE: I AM LEGEND available on FLOPHOUSE RECORDS.
Let's all welcome Jazz / Soul / Funk artist NIGEL HALL to the
FLOPHOUSE RECORDS team! Nigel, a well-known and very talented
musician, is working on his newest album, THE LAST STRAW, to be
released in 2008 on FLOPHOUSE RECORDS! Featuring production by GREEN
TANK and guest appearances from Soulive and other artists, don't sleep
on this anticipated release!
Also be on the lookout for the new album from BOSS coming out soon on FLOPHOUSE RECORDS! This will be the Maine Poet's third album. He's been working on it at the GREEN TANK Studios and we are expecting a 2008 release date!
